Prof. Ho Lok Sang received his Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Hong Kong, and went on to earn his Master degree and PhD in Economics at the University of Toronto, Canada. Prof. Ho Lok Sang is dean of business at Chu Hai College of Higher Education. He has published about 100 papers in academic journals and books.
Germaine Lau is the Director and Senior Policy Analyst at Savantas Policy Institute. The mission of Savantas Policy Institute is to conduct in-depth public policy research and analysis pertinent to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) in the political, economic and social domains and to promote greater understanding of quality democracy and knowledge-based economy.
Jeff Boda, born in Wisconsin in the United States, is a full-time journalist with the International New York Times here in Hong Kong, and also the founder, CEO and "chief beer evangelist" of the craft beer importer Hop Leaf, which supplies boutique brews from countries such as Denmark, the US and Japan to private customers and more than 30 bars and restaurants around the city.
Rubio Chan is the Director and Co-founder of two travel brands, namely, GloTravel and Eastern Vision. His travel experience in North Korea drove him to quit his stable job with the Hong Kong government and found the companies; to bring local insights to travellers. The tours provide political, economic and social insights via meaningful sightseeing and meeting with interesting people, from journalists, politicians, local tribes leaders to monks.
Yue Qiu is the team leader for Bloomberg Graphics' Asia and Europe team. She graduated from Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and Columbia School of International and Public Affairs with a dual degree in journalism and international relations. Before joining Bloomberg, she developed interactive data visualizations and news applications for investigative newsrooms ProPublica and CPI in the U.S.
Mr Alex Z.X. Koo is the Managing Editor (data journalism) of HK01, the founder of the commentary site Pentoy, and a part-time lecturer at Hong Kong Baptist University. Prior to that, he was an investigative reporter working in Cable TV and Mingpao, and was the head of the instant news team/ online video news team at Mingpao Daily News. He received a BA (Hons) in Communication from Hong Kong Baptist University, and a MA in Political Philosophy from the University of York.
Sammy Fung is the President of Open Source Hong Kong. He started to contribute to open source community when he formed Hong Kong Linux User Group as founding chairman. In recent years, Sammy started to involve in open source community in Asia and organises events in Asia. He is also a representative of Mozilla focus in Hong Kong and Asia.

Robin Ewing, from Texas, is a senior lecturer in the journalism department at Hong Kong Baptist University, where she teaches newswriting and multiplatform journalism. Robin is Associate Director of the MA in International Journalism Studies program and Director of the International Journalism program.
